Week 3 - $40 Walgreen's Gift Card Challenge

I stopped by my new favorite Walgreen's this morning as I did the shopping and was able to get a few things that I had planned on getting.  Some of the items I could not find and/or decided against getting.  For the few things I did pick up today, I cannot complain.  I spent only $2.26 on my gift card and bought 4 Degree deodorants, 2 Reynolds Wrap, toilet paper, and 3 tuna fish cans.  I currently have $23.34 remaining on my gift card.

I did not buy a newspaper this weekend since it did not have any coupons in it due to the holiday weekend.  However, it appears next week there will be three inserts: P&G, SmartSource, and RedPlum. =)

I decided to stop at a another Walgreen's before going to Kroger to see if they had anything different and after I checked out, I noticed someone had purposely left coupons on the newspapers.  One of the coupons was a $1.50 RR!  I saw it like cash and picked them up on my way out!  So now I have $1.50 to start next week.
