Swimming - Roland & Jakob

I took the boys swimming yesterday morning. We were the first ones at the pool at 9AM! Jakob really had a blast in the regular pool with his floaties and attempted to follow through the procedures to swim with his floaties. Before leaving shortly before 11AM, both boys wanted to play in the splash zone area. It was funny to watch since they both were working on timing it correctly to be underneath when the water dropped!

Scrapping the Music's Weekly Challenge - I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing

I created the following layout for the challenge.  It titled it Every Moment since it is important to treasure every moment!  I used sketch #67 from The Scrappiest.  I absolutely love the colors from the Oceanside kit from Coordinates Collections.  It's an older kit I had not used and it works great for pool and summer time pictures!  In these pictures, we took Jakob to the pool to play with his friends and they all had a blast!

Scrapping the Music's challenge is Aerosmith's song, "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing."  I am working on finding pictures and a sketch to complete the challenge.  I'll update this post with my layout when I'm done!  Stay tuned!!

Jakob's Pre-K Graduation -- Chicken Dance

Jakob and his friends had their Pre-K Graduation last Friday, May 28th. Near the end of the ceremony, they all danced the "Chicken Dance".  Watching Jakob again in this video makes me laugh.  Between his teacher telling him to slow down while swinging a partner and then noticing all the kids start going faster and faster when they swing their partners.  Another funny thing for me is to watch him and you can tell he's watching the others.  I still remember a video from when I was his age doing the same thing!  Enjoy!

Jakob's Pre-K Graduation
