ALDI Trip on 8/9/12

I made a quick trip to ALDI yesterday to pick up the needed produce we were low on.  I think I have fallen in love with this store for picking up needed produce to supplement the produce we receive from Bountiful Baskets!

Bananas $1.23
Oranges $3.29
Potatoes (10lb) $2.99
Corn $1.49
Lettuce $0.99
2 - Strawberries $0.99 each!!
Pineapple $1.99

Grand Total: $13.96

First Trip to ALDI = $9.06 for Produce

This was my first trip to ALDI.  I forgot about the quarters for the shopping carts.  Luckily, I was only going in for produce.  I was happy with the purchase overall for $9.06.  The best deals in my opinion was the cantaloupe at $0.79!

Red Apples: $2.49 (3lb)
Bananas: $0.44/lb = $1.32
Roma Tomatoes: $0.89
Sweet Corn: $1.49
Strawberries: $1.49
Cantaloupe: $0.79
Baby Carrots: $0.59

I normally get our produce through a local co-op called Bountiful Baskets, but I think this will supplement nicely on weeks we are unable to pick up or need additional items for the price!
