Pampers Deal!!

I was super excited to read on Southern Savers that the "Hopeful" Pampers Deal really was working at Walgreens.  The deal was if you purchase 2 Pampers diapers at $9 each, you would receive a $3 RR.  If you purchased $20 or more in Pampers products, you would receive a $5 Pampers coupon for a future purchase on Pampers diapers.  With knowing we will need lots of diapers in a few months, getting diapers as cheap as possible is the goal!!  Jeff and I liked Pampers with Jakob the most and I am doing good watching the deals and getting them on sale!  I figure every little bit helps with the economy.  Our money is tighter and I am trying to save and roll rewards as much as possible.

Another coupon in today's coupon as mentioned on Southern Savers was the new Tylenol Precise Creme.  There was a $5 coupon in today's paper and a $3 store coupon for Walgreens in their May Coupon booklet.

    What is 'RR'?

  2. Oh, RR is the shortened acronym for a Register Reward from Walgreens. It is a manufacturer coupon that is used in your next transaction. The trick to Walgreens is you have to have the same number of coupons for the number of items. So sometimes, you have to buy small items (I try to find things we will use) on transactions.

If you also spent $20 in Pampers, you received a $5 coupon toward another package of Pampers (expiration July 2011). I'm saving it for another week since they will do another deal before the coupon will expire.
