Menu Planning 07/04-07/10

In last week's menu, we ended up having more leftovers in the fridge than planned and so a few of the meals I planned last week, we did not actually make since we needed to eat the food in the refrigerator.  After looking at the grocery store ad for this week and next week, it did not seem super exciting.  I focused our menu based on things we have on hand at the house.  We will need to pick up basic items at the store such as milk, bread, eggs, etc, but we really do not need a major trip to the store. We also do not have the kids this week since they are with Jeff's parents.

I am planning on using a recipe from AllRecipes.com for the BBQ Pork Chops.  It is a dry rub that is delicious on a variety of meats and can be made quickly and stored air tight for later use.

Many of the above recipes are new recipes for our family from E-Mealz.  On some occasions, I take pictures of what I cook and post how they went with the family.  I figured it would be a great way of beginning to record our favorite recipes in my recipe book I purchased from Hallmark.  What are your plans this week?

  1. Ooops. I commented, but I think I forgot the code thing.

We had burgers yesterday, crock pot pulled pork (boneless tenderloin) tonight with leftovers for Wed (and a set of leftovers to the freezer), spaghetti and meatballs on Tuesday (sauce from the freezer). Chicken parm on Thursday (Costco breaded chicken breast + sauce from the freezer + mozz cheese). On Friday we'll probably go out for pizza or something.
