Results from Pretest - TExES Exam

I signed up to take a practice exam of the content portion of my exam I have to take along with finishing all of my courses. I took the exam last Saturday, and went into it without reviewing or studying. The results were emailed to me today and I got 60% correct. You have to have 70% overall, but I thought it was neat since I took it as a pretest. I have signed up to take the next practice exam on March 9 and I will study for that one. My goal is to take the real content portion of the exam either in June or August and have that exam finished! :)

Snow Day #2

Well, today is the 2nd Snow Day for our current Winter season. Majority of the schools and colleges are closed today. I woke up this morning completely surprised and not expecting snow! Denton ISD closed around 6:30am. If Denton ISD closes, then my daycare for Jakob also closes. Then UNT closed around 7:15am. I had two classes for the day and both ended up being canceled. It was kinda nice, I was able to focus on Chemistry and History for the first week of classes and I can add the others starting next Monday.

Scrapbooking Monthly Kits

During the break from college, I have been able to catch up on most of the scrapbooking. I was reading in magazines about scrapbooking monthly clubs that will send you a nice kit each month. So after looking at different companies online, I chose one I liked by looking at their past kits. I signed up with Coordinates Collections for six months at $15.95/month ($20 after shipipng). I figured even with college and the hectic schedule, I need to devote some free time to scrapbooking every now and then. It'll be fun getting something in the mail too!
